Dark One Games Takes the Stage: Our First Conventions as Exhibitors!
The flicker of anticipation is real here at Dark One Games as we prepare for a monumental milestone, our debut as exhibitors at two of New England’s most celebrated gaming conventions in 2025: TotalCon and Rising Phoenix GameCon. For a small indie publisher venturing into the abyss of the board game industry, these conventions are more than just events, they’re a rite of passage.

TotalCon 39: A Legendary Start
First up is TotalCon 39, running from February 20–23, 2025, in Marlborough, MA. Known as New England’s largest game convention, TotalCon promises an experience steeped in mystery and adventure. This year’s theme, “Cryptids,” invites attendees to explore the shadowy world of mythical creatures, from Bigfoot to the Mothman.
Dark One Games is thrilled to be part of this legendary gathering, where the incredible diversity of gaming shines, RPGs, tabletop miniatures, board games, and so much more, all brought together under one roof.
Rising Phoenix GameCon: Where Community Takes Flight
Hot on the heels of TotalCon, we’ll take flight to Rising Phoenix GameCon, April 25–27, 2025, in Milford, MA. Rising Phoenix is a newer convention but has quickly earned a reputation for its inclusivity and vibrant community spirit. It’s a haven where gamers of all kinds come together to share their love for the hobby.
The convention’s focus on collaboration and community echoes our mission at Dark One Games: to craft experiences that bring people together, one roll of the dice at a time.

We’ve poured our hearts and souls into creating games that resonate with players, and these conventions give us the chance to share them directly with you.
